No Charges to be Filed Against Officers in Shooting Incident

Marshall County Prosecutor David Holmes has announced that no criminal charges will be filed against any of the officers involved in the shooting death of Mark Albright, 62, on the night of February 23rd.

Holmes made his decision after receiving a report of the investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police.

Albright, of Plymouth, led police from several departments on a 35-mile chase after attempts to stop him for driving while intoxicated.

When finally stopped, Albright pulled a gun and fired on three police officers who were trying to apprehend him. Two of the officers were from the Marshall County Police Department and one from the Argos Police Department.

Two of the officers reportedly returned fire in the incident.
