Marshall County Police are investigating the second armed robbery incident at the Bottle Stop Liquor Store in LaPaz in a month.
On Friday, February 17th, the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a robbery at the Bottle Stop Liquor Store in LaPaz. The clerk told police that a male subject walked into the liquor store, brandished a knife and demanded money. The suspect was then chased out of the store by a clerk and left on foot. No money was taken during the incident.
Police were called to the same business around January 10th where a man brandished a knife and demanded cash from the register. The suspect fled the scene at that time as well, but he got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
