Two North Judson Residents Arrested on Methamphetamine Charges

Two North Judson men were arrested on Tuesday, January 17th after Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department officers reportedly found items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine in their vehicle.

Police initiated a traffic stop at County Road 800 North and U.S. 421. The officer notified the driver, Donald Fletcher, that the license plates did not match the vehicle. Fletcher said he didn’t have the money to get the proper plates and he reportedly told police that he knew they weren’t the right plates and Starke County police recently towed the vehicle for the same reason.

The officer asked to search the vehicle and the request was granted. The officer located a box underneath the driver’s seat containing items commonly used in the manufacture of methamphetamine. Both Fletcher and his passenger, Brennon Bickel, denied having any intentions of making methamphetamine.

Donald Fletcher was arrested and the Pulaski County Prosecutor has filed charges of Possession of Precursors with the Intent to Manufacture and Maintaining a Common Nuisance. Brennon Bickel was arrested and has preliminary charges of Possession of Precursors with the intent to Manufacture and Visiting a Common Nuisance.
