Police Reports

Police Reports are simply a record that an arrest has been made and are not an indication of guilt or innocence.

Doug Vessely
North Judson Town Marshal Doug Vessely

From the North Judson Police Department:

Incidents:
The North Judson Police covered two weather related accidents in the past week. A three vehicle property damage accident occurred on Talmer Avenue and the intersection of Garfield Avenue. A east bound vehicle driving on Talmer Avenue, turned North on Garfield in front of a westbound vehicle, which struck the vehicle, spinning it into another vehicle that was stopped at the stop sign on Garfield, waiting to turn onto Talmer Avenue. Chief Deputy Joe Budner investigated the incident on Tuesday, January 17. North Judson Police Officer Frank Thomas covered another accident on Thursday, January 19, involving two vehicles, one of which was parked in the Maryland Street Apartments, and was struck by a pickup truck that was pulling into the parking lot and slid around into the parked car. Both accidents were influenced by the road surface conditions. Chief Vessely once again reminds drivers to be safe on the roads when snow and ice are present. “Give yourself a little extra time and drive with caution, especially when the roads are slick.”
