Pulaski County Sheriff's Department

From the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department:

Incidents:
08/15/11 An employee from I.G.S. Plumbing reported that a piece of John Deere equipment was parked alongside the west curb of Riverside Drive on Friday and when workers arrived on Monday, a small hole had been punched out in the center of the windshield. Nothing was reported stolen. There was no evidence as to what caused the puncture. Later in the report, police noted that the windshield was completely shattered after the driver’s side door was slammed shut.

08/14/11 A caller in the Denham area reported that an unknown person just drove through the yard and ran into her vehicle. The driver was cited for disregarding a stop sign and no proof of financial responsibility.

08/14/11 A Winamac resident reported the theft of her car. She had sold the vehicle to another person and doesn’t know how to get a hold of the new owner. The police asked that she get in contact with the new owner and see where to go from there.

08/13/11 An accident was reported in the Denham area. No one was in or around the vehicle when police arrived. Police are investigating the incident.

08/13/11 A resident in the Beardstown area called police to report that some unknown person(s) broke into her house and ransacked it.

08/13/11 A farmer in the Denham area reported the theft of items from a field.

08/13/11 A Medaryville resident told police that his daughter’s residence has been broken into.

08/12/11 ISP Clandestine Lab Team was called to a residence in northwestern Pulaski County to clean up a meth lab. The lab was in a residence that was being foreclosed and no one was living in the dwelling.

08/12/11 Stacey Brinkley of Francesville called police to report that she accidentally hit a little boy on his bicycle on South Street. The driver observed the bicyclist coming at a high rate of speed and tried to stop in time, but could not avoid a collision. The boy did not sustain major injuries and reportedly refused medical attention at the scene.

08/12/11 A Monterey resident reported a break-in at her summer home.

08/11/11 A Winamac resident reported the theft of two bicycles off of her back porch.

08/10/11 A Medaryville resident reported that some unknown person(s) attempted to break into the shelter at the Town Park.

08/09/11 A Monon resident called the police to report that she loaned her nephew her car and he has failed to return the car per their agreement. She wants to report it stolen.

08/08/11 A Monon resident told police that her house has been broken into and ransacked. Some items were stolen.

08/11/11 Michael Mills, 864 E. Chouinard Ln., Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

08/08 /11 A resident in the 4300 block of East County Road 210 in Knox requested to speak with an officer concerning the theft of a paddle boat.

08/08 /11 A resident in the 7300 block of North 1200 East in Walkerton told police that his garbage can had been stolen two weeks prior.

08/08 /11 A resident of the 8100 block of East Toto Road in Knox reported his mailbox has been destroyed.

08/09/11 A resident in the 3900 block of South 700 East in Knox reported the theft of his lawnmower, weed-eater, leaf blower, and chainsaws.

08/10/11 A resident of the 3300 block of North 900 East in Grovertown reported a dirt bike had been stolen from a shed.

08/10/11 Tony Williams of Knox reported he had a canoe stolen from his yard.

08/11/11 A resident in the 5200 block of South 750 East in Knox reported his helmet had been stolen while he was at a friend’s house.

08/12/11 A resident of the 2700 block of East 150 South in Knox reported her dog had been stolen.

08/12/11 A resident of the 10000 block of East 100 North in Knox reported his go-kart had been stolen.

08/13/11 A resident in the 8800 block of East 750 North in Walkerton reported her mailbox had been knocked down.

08/13/11 A caller from Indianapolis reported his 2001 Silver Cavalier had been stolen in Knox, according to his girlfriend.

Arrests

08/09/11 Avery Austin Mullins, 29, from Winamac  arrested for Possession of Chemical Agents or Precursors, Possession of a Syringe, Possession of Cocaine or Narcotic Drug, Resisting Law Enforcement after an Indiana State Police unit served a warrant on Avery Mullins and Dennis Wireman.

08/09/11 Travis D. Joseph, 27, from North Judson by SCSD: Attempted Battery, Disorderly Conduct, Probation Violation after police received a call about someone outside yelling and screaming.

08/09/11 Daniel S. Burger, 21, from Knox arrested for Burglary and Theft after a resident in the 100 block of East 800 South in Knox returned home and saw a suspicious vehicle on her property. The resident recently filed a police report about missing items.

08/09/11 Dennis Gene Wireman, 42, from Knox arrested for Public Intoxication after police received a call informing them that Wireman had fallen in his yard and the caller was not sure of the injuries.

08/11/11 Richard L. Dennis, 28, from Knox arrested for Domestic Battery.

08/12/11 Christopher S. McNeece, 20, from Monterey arrested for Failure to Register as Sex Offender.

08/12/11 Bryan S. Dollahan, 37, from North Judson arrested following a warrant check in North Judson.

08/12/11 Jeffrey R. Singleton, 25, from Knox arrested for Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct.

08/13/11 James E. Miller, 30, from North Judson arrested for Public Intoxication after police received a call of a man walking around Bass Lake yelling at people about having just gotten out of prison and trying to start trouble.

08/14/11 Amanda Lynn Conway, 22, from Knox arrested following an accident in which her vehicle had hit a pole.

08/15/11 Jose Hurtando told police that Allied Waste set a dumpster at his apartment building located in the alley and he did not authorize the dumpster to be there. He owns the apartments on 7 N. Main Street in Knox.

08/13/11 Gary Stacy reported the theft of his son’s bike. It is a 20” black/blue Mongoose.

08/13/11 Jerry Sons reported that the screen to the front of his apartment had been cut.

08/12/11 Barb McCurdy reported damage to her car after hitting chunks of concrete laying in the roadway.

08/11/11 Gladys Moore reported the theft of jewelry.

08/10/11 Ashliegh Brewer told police that her landlord allegedly entered her house through her bedroom window.

08/08/11 Police were called to McDonald’s to a small property damage accident. Michael Watts was backing up in the parking lot and ran into a vehicle driven by Lindsay Burns. No one was injured.

08/15/11 Jeffery R. Maynard, 35, 1013 S. Roosevelt Rd., Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Public Intoxication.

08/12/11 Esterfinia Hernandez, 21, 4153 W. Rosecoe St., Chicago, IL, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operator Never Licensed.

08/10/11 Paul Rodgers, 43, 906 N. Walnut St., Plymouth, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Battery and Interference with the Reporting of a Crime.
