Incidents:

06/20/11 A green Next Bicycle was reported stolen overnight in the 200 block of Luken Street. North Judson Police are investigating.

06/20/11 Juvenile male was pushed off of his bicycle in the Town Park area by two older boys. The boy on the bike sustained minor injuries. North Judson Police continue the investigation.

Arrests:

06/13/11 Amber R. Cole, 21, 6320 E. 800 South, Monterey, IN, was arrested for Conversion after an incident at the North Judson Dollar General.

Incidents:

06/26/11 A resident in Star City reported a break-in. The resident said that she heard a noise and then she got up to look, she noticed her front door open and her purse stolen.

06/25/11 A resident in Star City reported the theft of a bicycle.

06/24/11 Residents have been calling in fireworks complaints. The Winamac ordinance states that fireworks may only be discharged June 29th-July 9th.

06/23/11 A resident in Beardstown reported that an anhydrous ammonia tank is in a field and is emitting a cloud. Emergency responders were called to the scene and the fire department shut off the tank. No foul play was suspected.

06/23/11 Police were called to a Winamac in reference to hunters on private property.

06/23/11 A Francesville resident called police to report an X-Box 360 and a sensor was stolen from his apartment.

06/23/11 Vandalism was reported at the Monterey Elementary School.

06/22/11 A resident in Ripley reported that his home has been burglarized.

06/21/11 Caller in Winamac requested an officer in reference to scrap metal theft. Radiators and other items were stolen.

06/20/11 A roll-over accident was reported in Francesville. The semi was on the guardrail. A tree fell on a house due to the weather by the accident scene. No injuries were reported.

06/26/11 Laura Johnson, 44, 5495 E. State Road 14, Winamac, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

06/24/11 Amber See, 21, 105 S. Ohio St., Winamac, IN, arrested on an active arrest warrant.

Incidents:

06/24/11 Tiffany Kornett reported a break-in at her apartment. The officer noticed damage around the dead-bolt at the top of the door. Tiffany advised that the only property stolen was her prescription medication.

06/21/11 A harassment complaint was filed by an adult female in the area of St. Louis and Main Street in Knox.

06/21/11 A Knox resident reported the theft of a moped from the area of Washington and Main Streets in Knox.

06/26/11 Christian Cattin, 19, of 3502 E. State Road 14, Winamac, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Illegal Possession of Alcohol and and active arrest warrant.

Travis Wintczak, 18, 0495 N. State Road 23, Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Illegal Possession of Alcohol.

Ryan Drews, 19, no address given, arrested on a preliminary charge of Illegal Possession of Alcohol.

06/25/11 Gerald Boyd, 42, 307 W. John St., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Dealing Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, Resisting Law Enforcement and an active arrest warrant.

Incidents:

06/26/11 A resident in the 7000 block of S. 500 W. in North Judson reported the theft of bicycles.

06/26/11 A resident in the 2000 block of S. Tribue Dr. in Knox reported the theft of a tow dolly from a friend’s house.

06/26/11 A resident in the 4200 block of E. 200 S. in Knox told police that his home had been broken into.

06/26/11 Corey from Knox advised that a railroad ballast had been taken from his property.

06/26/11 A burglary was reported at Hines Salvage in Grovertown.

06/25/11 A Knox resident told police that he sold something on Craigslist and the buyer sent him a fraudulent check. The check was written for more than what the item was for and the buyer asked him to send him the balance. The complaintant sent the buyer $1,000 and then found out the check was fraudulent.

06/25/11 A Plymouth resident reported his wallet missing. He says he lost it at the Bass Lake Public Boat Launch.

06/23/11 A resident in the 7400 block of E. 100 N. in Knox reported that some unknown person(s) blew up his mailbox.

06/22/11 A Grovertown resident told police that someone stole his mailbox and his father had his mailbox knocked down. A stop sign at 400 N. and 900 E. has been stolen as well.

06/22/11 A resident in the 3700 block of N. 900 E. in Grovertown said the lid on her mailbox was twisted and won’t shut. She advised there are approximately 16 to 17 other mailboxes down the road have been vandalized as well.

06/20/11 A resident in the 8700 block of S. Sycamore in Monterey reported his camera stolen.

Arrests:

06/23/11 Andrew Frasure, 23, arrested on a preliminary charge of Possession of Marijuana.

Accidents:

06/19/11 Tonya Campbell of North Judson was northbound on 350 West when suddenly she saw a pickup truck blow through the intersection on 400 South without stopping. She attempted to swerve and miss the vehicle but the action resulted in her motorcycle skidding and crashing in the roadway injuring her. Dustin Hodges stated he stopped at the intersection and then started again. He blamed his brakes for causing the accident.
