It was 10 years ago on this date that the 1943 addition of the Knox Middle School started to be torn down. It was removed to make room for the new two story building that is now used for Middle School classrooms.

On this date in 1977 Russ Radtke was hired as the football coach at North Judson-San Pierre High School. He replaced Dick McClure.

In 1968, school patrons in Pulaski said good bye to their school. Built in 1921, it ceased to operate after consolidation. The name of the sports teams was the Yellow Jackets, the colors were blue and gold, the school newspaper was the Pulaski Echo, and the yearbook was the Tippecanoe Ripples. They not only played basketball, but they had a ping pong team, too.
