Four Arrested in Knox on Methamphetamine Charges

Starke County Sheriff’s Department officers arrested four on methamphetamine charges at a Knox residence Wednesday afternoon.

According to the press release, officers contacted the owner of 10650 E. Division Road in Knox in regards to possible drug activity at the residence. Prior to officers arriving on the scene, the property owner contacted the Sheriff’s Department to report a suspicious vehicle at the scene. When police arrived on scene, three subjects were found inside the residence. They were detained and police searched the residence where they reportedly found an active illegal methamphetamine lab, precursors to manufacture meth and drug paraphernalia.

Brian Standiford, of Knox, and Amy Ahlenius, of Monterey, were arrested and have preliminary charges of Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Illegal Drug Lab, Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Paraphernalia. Also arrested was Rose Martin, of Knox, and David Scarberry, of Donaldson, and they have a preliminary charge of Visiting a Common Nuisance.

The Starke County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team.
