Incidents:

03/19/11 The North Judson Police responded to the Bank of Indiana in regards to counterfeit United States currency. Police investigated the incident and took possession of the counterfeit bills. An investigation continues as charges are pending. The Secret Service was notified of the incident.

03/14/11 Omas E. Fletcher, 45, 2070 N Garba Dr., Grovertown, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Driving While Suspended Prior and Possession of Methamphetamine.

03/14/11 Nicole D. Moss, 38, 504 N. Starke St., Hamlet, IN, arrested for a Body Attachment Warrant.

03/15/11 Bryan S. Dollahan, 36, 302 Jones Street, North Judson, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Public Intoxication and False Informing.

03/15/11 John P. Trent, 43, 302 Jones St. North Judson, IN, arrested for Battery Class A Misdemeanor.

03/18/11 Shanna M. Risner, 32, 0655 E. 500 South, North Judson, IN, arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

Incidents:
03/18/11 A caller in Pulaski reported that her home and the neighbor’s home have been broken into. The lock on the gate was tampered with.

03/18/11 A resident in Denham reported the theft of a license plate.

03/18/11 A camper was seen on fire in the woods. The Medaryville Fire Department was called to the scene. No one was in the camper and the camper is was reported as a total loss.

03/18/11 A caller reported his vehicles stolen and now he believes someone is living in his home that he’s moving out of. Baby toys and rattles are in the house there weren’t there two days ago.

03/18/11 A resident told police that he is out of town and his neighbor called him to say that he saw someone standing by his garage. The caller said there shouldn’t be anyone at his residence.

03/17/11 A caller requested to speak to an officer to talk about items stolen from the house he is moving out of.

03/17/11 A caller reported shots fired behind his home. Police located subjects shooting a .22 into a safe backstop. No safety issues were noted.

03/17/11 A field fire was reported in Medaryville and it was spreading fast. The Medaryville Fire Department was called to the scene.

03/17/11 White County advised Pulaski County that Monon police were trying to catch up to a speeding car now headed into Pulaski County. The Monon unit stopped the driver in Francesville. Driver was cited for driving 70 mph in a 55 mph zone. The driver told police she was running late from a tanning appointment.

03/16/11 A caller told police that a vehicle has been left in a parking lot for a few days now and the caller fears that it may be stolen. A 72 hour tag was placed on the vehicle.

03/16/11 A Medaryville resident reported the theft of a 1953 Jeep, 4-5 propane tanks, torch set, 3 wheeler and possible more from a residence. Caller told police that the whole house was trashed. Caller said he had moved and went to check on the Jeep and it was gone. A 1981 Pontiac Firebird was also stolen.

03/16/11 A caller in Winamac reported being bit by a dog. The dog was being walked on a leash. The dog tore the caller’s pants and punctured the skin. The caller wanted to know if the dog has had all of its shots.

3/20/2011 Jody Spicer was arrested on a warrant for two counts of Burglary, two counts Theft, Criminal Trespassing, Criminal Mischief, and Battery resulting in bodily injury.

3/17/2011 Adam Makowski was arrested and charged with Theft Receiving Stolen Property and Possession of Marijuana.

3/17/2011 Steven Sandoval was arrested and charged with Theft Receiving Stolen Property and False Informing.

Incidents:
03/21/11 A Knox woman told police that she was in and out of her house moving boxes all day and as she was walking out of her house and she was hit by someone in the face. The police noticed that the left side of her face and eye were red and swollen. There are no suspects at this time.

03/18/11 The cashier at Next Door Food Store called police to report that she found a clear bag containing a white powder in the parking lot. The powder was field tested and it was positive for methamphetamine.

03/16/11 Dawn Allen reported that while she was at work, she saw someone parked in her driveway and she yelled at them to leave. Upon leaving, the suspect backed up into her fence and left.

03/21/11 Kelly Robinson, 20, 701 E. Danker St., #18, Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Domestic Battery, Strangulation and Interfering with Reporting a Crime.

03/20/11 Clark Clemons, 707 E. St. Louis St., Knox, IN arrested on a preliminary charge of Domestic Battery.

03/18/11 John O’Malley Jr., 72, 6355 E. 25 N., Knox, IN, arrested on preliminary charges of Operating a Vehicle Dangerously While Intoxicated, Operating a Vehicle with a BAC of at least .08%.

03/18/11 Samuel Singleton, 36, 0345 N. State Road 23, Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Prescription Forgery.

03/17/11 Terry Wheeler, 15 1/2 Main St., Knox, IN, arrested on a preliminary charge of Public Intoxication.

Accidents:
03/20/11 The Knox City Police Department investigated a two car accident on State Road 8 and County Road 500 East. According to the accident report, Austin Tessner of Knox was traveling westbound on State Road 8, just past County Road 500 East, when he observed the vehicle in front of him slow quickly. He applied his brakes but was unable to avoid a collision with Rosalind Romenzak of Knox who told police she was slowing quickly because the car in front of her stopped quickly to turn into a driveway on State Road 8. When Romanzak’s car was hit, she lost control of her vehicle and she hit a NIPSCO pole, breaking it in half. She sustained a minor injury in the crash. A portion of the City lost power as a result of the accident.

Incidents:
03/19/11 A Monterey man told police that he and his wife had been out of town and when they returned home, the lock on the REMC electric box had been cut.

03/19/11 A resident requested an officer to report her license stolen.

03/19/11 Mike Childers reported his mailbox stolen. In a later conversation with the suspect in the incident, the suspect agreed to reimburse Childers for the mailbox.

03/19/11 A caller notified police that his friend’s car was damaged. The car’s ignition switch had been tampered with while the vehicle was parked in the 700 block of N. 1025 E. in Knox.

03/18/11 Julie Bailey reported finding a small black Sony camera case with an ATM card and other identification in it. Police took possession of the item.

03/18/11 A caller from the 2300 block of S. US 35 in Knox reported the theft of all the copper from her air conditioner.

03/18/11 Phyllis Shepherd told police that a piece of firewood from the back of the truck traveling in front of her flew out and went through her windshield. She needs an officer for a report.

03/18/11 A Knox resident reported the theft of a furnace.

03/17/11 A Knox resident called police to report that two windows have been kicked in at her residence.

03/17/11 A caller reported a stop sign down at 100 West and Toto Road.

03/16/11 Linda Fort of North Judson reported the theft of a safe, guns and several other items from her residence.

03/15/11 A caller told police that a man in a green Pontiac was running down a male subject on foot in Borne’s Trailer Park. Officers did not locate anyone at the scene.
