Unemployment Figures Show Little Improvement

The unemployment report for November of 2010 shows little improvement for Indiana Counties.  However, the State of Indiana’s unemployment went down.

Starke County ranks number seven in the state at 11.3%, Pulaski County is at 8.2%, Marshall County 10.4%, LaPorte County 10.7%, Fulton County 9.6% and St. Joseph 10.6%.  Rates in 75 counties are up while rates are down is 10 counties.

Davies County shows the lowest unemployment rate at 5.7%.  Indiana’s rate is 9.8% while the U.S. rate is 9.8%.
